West Volusia R/C Club Rules
As with any type gathering, there are deferent kinds of rules. For the most part with our gatherings, we will be following the rules of ROAR when on the track with a few extra things added.
Our rules added to the already in-place ROAR rules are:
1. Children must remain outside the Race Surface area at all times. No children shall be left unattended and parents are responsible for keeping their children safe. Unattended children may be asked to leave unsafe areas and parents may be asked to leave a necessary to ensure safety.
2. No Alcohol, Drugs, Firearms or other illegal items are not allowed any where in the park or facility at any time. Offender can be banned from the facility and prosecuted under the state laws
3. Running Vehicles outside of the track area, in the pits, or in the parking lot is not permitted during practice or race days.
4. The track is open during scheduled Practice times and race dates. All other times the track can only be opened by a track official.
5. Patrons must use the frequency board to ensure transmitter frequencies are not in use and frequency conflicts do not occur during non-organized events.
6. The use of R/C transmitters and frequencies will be reserved in the facility to authorized participants during organized racing events.
7. The upkeep and changing of the track surface and surrounding area will only be done by Track Officials or their agents.
8. Parking and pitting will be done in designated parking areas and pit areas only.
9. Do not climb or jump on the fences or barriers. Use only the designated entrances to the track area.
10. The track will be closed during unsafe weather conditions.
11. The track may be closed at anytime for rebuild, repairs or other reasons with out notice.
12. Only Remote Control Vehicles 1/8th scale or smaller are permitted on the track. No bicycles, mini-bikes, or other un-authorized vehicles are allowed on the track at anytime.
