Who are we?
West Volusia Remote Control Club was brought about due to not having a track close to our back yard. With the rising cost of fuel prices, we felt that we needed to form a group to eventually look to our local leaders to help us put in some type of R/C Park here on the west side of Volusia County.
West Volusia R/C Club, Inc. was Incorporated in 2003 as a Not for Profit in the State of Florida. All monies that we receive are either rolled back into the club for purchases of equipment needed, or excess will be put back into the community or other needed programs.
Where do we gather?
The club right now sets up at the Kohl's parking lot in Orange City every other Friday night as weather permits. To find out when we will be running, feel free to join our Forums. The announcements are made there as to date and time.
We are currently running On-road (electric only) and Short Course Trucks (electric only) We currently do not run any type of Nitro powered Cars, Trucks or Buggies
Cost to run is a donation of $5.00 for the night. We do run transponders. We currently use the I-lap transponders which is a very well built transponder but will not break your bank purchasing one. The cost for a transponder is $45.00 compared to AMB at $90.00. We do have rentals for $5.00 a night.
Please surf though our whole website to find out all the info concerning our club. We invite all to come out and enjoy the hobby with others of like interest.

Club News:
Aug 25 2011 - A new site is being looked at. This site will be a bit further out of the area we were looking at, but will be a simple place to get to as far as driving to. Its a very primitive site, but a very LARGE primitive area.
Aug 3rd 2011 - Tonight we were allowed to present our idea to the City Council of Debary. We get a full thumbs up by all the Council Members. Now the hard work comes, trying to find property that will work for our purpose.
